Ela funciona como um ponteiro de mouse muito preciso e permite botões menores para isso. O Instagram, por exemplo, sequer permite utilizar o app na orientação de tela que estava até agora. Mesmo com a orientação travada, o app força ele a rodar de depois do Android que juntou tablets e smartphones num só sistema operacional, a imensa maioria dos apps ainda é feita focando no uso de um smartphone. Não no de um tablet e é nisso que o iPad toma a dianteira e continua lá por anos. Por lá o número de apps que tira proveito da tela grande é muito, mas muito para as soluções da Samsung, a S Pen continua como a melhor caneta que você pode utilizar em telas de toque - melhor até do que a Apple Pencil, que é um….lápis? A da Samsung tem exatamente as mesmas funções da linha Note. Isso significa que você pode fazer anotações com a tela desligada e apertar o botão dela para abrir um menu com extras, como traduzir uma palavra para outro idioma, criar uma nota e até fazer uma captura de tela e desenhar ou escrever por ponta da S Pen tem 0,7 milímetros de espessura e faz fricção o suficiente com o vidro para não dar a impressão de que você não está num papel. Desenhar é muito confortável, pecando apenas em um ponto bastante chato não há modo que cancela o toque da mão na tela, quando você desenha ou escreve. Parece bobeira, mas não poder ficar com a mão apoiada na tela, tira parte do conforto de utilizar a outro lado, a stylus é maior do que nos Galaxy Note e encaixa quase que em um tamanho tradicional de caneta. De fato, é a melhor caneta que existe para telas. E, diferente da Apple Pencil, não precisa recarregar a pensei em, sinceramente, pular este ponto. Você não deve utilizar um aparelho deste tamanho para tirar fotos das férias, ou uma selfie para redes sociais. Mas...ok, vamos 13 megapixels na parte traseira, com abertura de f/ e que pode até filmar em 4K com 30 quadros por segundo. O resultado fica em fotos que exibem cores de forma bem balanceada, mas que sofre com o HDR - que está escondido dentro dos modos de fotografia. Ele não consegue trabalhar tão bem por aqui, como faz no S7. Este seria um ponto negativo, mas, convenhamos, a única utilidade de fato de uma câmera traseira em tablet é de escanear documentos ou fotografar bem raramente, certo? O smartphone é muito mais portátil e está sempre no seu bolso, algo que o tablet não fotos noturnas recebem ajuda da abertura grande, mas o foco é teimoso e nem sempre fixa no ponto em que você toca na tela. O nível de granulado foi baixo nas fotos que eu tirei. Bem bacana para um... a câmera frontal é de 5 megapixels e lida bem com chamadas de vídeo e algumas selfies descompromissadas. Nada além e acessóriosPor dentro são de bateria, que...sinceramente, poderia ser maior. E eu falo isso quando comparo com o iPad Pro de mesmo tamanho de tela, que tem mais de extras, com espessura muito semelhante e quase que mesmo peso. Dava pra dar um fôlego extra por assim, com menos bateria do que seu principal concorrente, o Tab S3 não faz feio não. No teste de reprodução de vídeo via Wi-Fi, com brilho no máximo, o tablet da Samsung registrou descarga média de 15% por hora. Utilizando no cotidiano, com vídeos, produzindo textos e navegando na web, consegui perto das 10 horas com a bateria extra não faz muita falta, mas...ter 20% a mais de bateria, poderia dar uma hora extra de uso. A lista de apps que tira bom proveito de telas grandes é pequenina e, quando você olha para a produtividade que um Chromebook entrega, fica complicado pensar no Tab S3 para isso. Pra você é consumidor de mídia e gosta de ter isso em uma tela enorme, este é seu próximo tablet. Se quer utilizar para trabalho, minha experiência própria é de apontar um Chromebook. O Chromebook Plus, da própria Samsung, tem teclado físico confortável, versão completa do Chrome, roda quase que todos os apps de Android e é mais utilizo o Chromebook para muita coisa e ele é a melhor ponte entre um tablet Android e um computador. Para produtividade, ele é o campeão, só que para assistir séries do Netflix e jogar, o Tab S3 vence. Ah, a S Pen dele é bem melhor do que a que vem no a Samsung não nos enviou o teclado que vai conectado nestes pontos que ficam na base do Tab. Eu já utilizei ele e a produtividade melhora, mas ainda assim não ganha do claro, o Tab S3 custa R$ 3 mil no site oficial da Samsung e já vem com a S Pen na caixa, sem custar nada além por isso. Dengan bekal resolusi 5MP dan aperture f/ kualitas yang dihasilkan kamera depannya terbilang cukup baik. Dalam video call, gambar masih terlihat cukup jelas. Yang menurut kami menarik adalah Smart Select. Dikombinasikan dengan S Pen, fitur ini memungkinkan Anda memilih gambar atau teks pilihan dari internet atau apapun yang tampil di layar. Anda juga masih bisa menambahkan teks sesuai yang diinginkan. Hasilnya bisa Anda share ke orang lain melalui sosmed, chat messenger atau email. Banyak aplikasi yang sudah mendukung penggunaan S Pen Selain gambar, di fitur Smart Select Anda juga bisa membuat animasi dalam format GIF. Caranya pilih video yang ingin dijadikan GIF dari youtube atau sumber lain, masuk ke Air Command lalu Smart Select dan pilih GIF Animation. Animasi GIF yang dihasilkan memiliki durasi waktu 15 detik dengan opsi kualitas tinggi dan standar. Untuk animasi GIF kualitas tinggi menghasilkan ukuran file sebesar 12MB – 15MB, sedangkan untuk kualitas standar memiliki ukuran file 5MB – 7 MB. Di dalam Air Command juga terdapat fitur Translate yang sangat membantu menterjemahkan kata yang Anda anggap sulit. Untuk menggunakannnya, Anda masuk ke Air Command lalu pilih translate. Sebelumnya pilih Bahasa yang akan diterjemahkan, misal dari Bahasa Inggris ke Bahasa Indonesia. Cukup arahkan S Pen dengan jarak dekat ke kata yang akan diterjemahkan tidak perlu menyentuh layar, makan secara otomatis akan muncul terjemahan kata yang dimaksud. Hanya saja, proses terjemahan ini membutuhkan koneksi internet yang cepat agar proses terjemahan berjalan lancar. Screen Off Memo Fitur Screen Off Memo di Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 Fitur ini memungkinkan Anda membuat catatan meski layar dalam keadaan mati. Sehingga Anda tidak perlu mengaktifkan layar dan masuk ke menu, jauh lebih mudah dan hemat waktu. Untuk mengaktifkan fitur screen off memo, Anda cukup tempelkan S Pen ke layar sambil menekan tombol. Setelah itu Anda bisa mulai membuat catatan dengan halaman yang tak terbatas. Jika satu halaman tidak cukup, tinggal sentuh ikon panah kebawah untuk masuk ke halaman berikutnya. Begitu seterusnya, tergantung dari berapa halaman yang Anda gunakan saat membuat catatan. Performa Hasil benchmark Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 dengan Geekbench 4 Samsung Tab S3 memiliki konfigurasi yang sangat optimal untuk semua aktivitas ringan hingga berat. Karena didalam mesinnya sudah tersemat prosesor Snapdragon 820 yang akan disokong memori RAM 4GB dan penyimpanan internal seluas 32GB. Selama penggunaan, kami tidak menemui kendala berarti. Semua aktivitas berjalan dengan lancar, mulai dari aplikasi office, editing, hingga game. Termasuk bekerja secara multitasking dengan membuka banyak aplikasi secara bersamaan. Hanya saja, bila melihat kemampuan perangkat yang bisa mengakomodir semua aktvitas, rasanya kapasitas 32GB masih dirasa kurang. Apalagi masih dikurangi dengan memori sistem yang memakan ruang sebesar 8GB. Tapi tidak peru khawatir, karena Anda bisa menambahkannya melalui slot microSD. Dengan kapasitas baterai 6000 mAh, Galaxy Tab S3 memiliki power lebih efisien dengan kemampuan fast-charging. Baterai ini dapat digunakan maksimal selama seharian penuh untuk penggunaan aktif browsing, memutar lagu, menonton film, social media aktif, chat messaging aktif, email dan aktifitas lain. Saat mencoba pemutaran video HD selama 1 jam, baterainya hanya berkurang 8 persen saja. Kesimpulan Secara umum, kualitas yang ditawarkan dari Samsung tab S3 memang memiliki kemampuan yang memadai. It is not perfect for the use on the lap. The keyboard layout, however, is very good and all the 64 keys have convenient travel with a good typing experience, even though the surface is a bit squeezed due to the form factor. We also miss a background illumination for the keys. The cover is attached to the Galaxy Tab S3 via magnets and connected via POGO pins. The Super AMOLED screen features 2048x1536 pixels and also supports the playback of HDR content. This is particularly good news for users of streaming services like Netflix and Amazon Video. Our test model manages only an average brightness distribution, but this is no problem in practice. The display of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 reaches up to 452 nits at the center on a pure white background with the activated ambient light sensor. We can even measure up to 633 nits in the more realistic APL50 measurement, but only up to 302 nits with the manual control. Clouding is not an issue for the Galaxy Tab S3 thanks to the OLED technology. The tablet can also produce absolute black, which ensures brilliant contrast levels that tend toward infinite. However, the tablet uses pulse-width modulation to control the luminance. It is active on every brightness level and fluctuates between 220 and 240 Hz. The tablet performs well in the benchmarks, only PCMark determines a score on par with the predecessor Galaxy Tab S2, and even the Galaxy S8+ is only a tad faster. The comparison with the modern high-end smartphone from Samsung still shows that the CPU and GPU performance could have been better with a current top-tier SoC. The iPad 2017 is also faster than the test model in the system as well as GPU benchmarks. This does not make a big difference in practice right now, but might change in 1 or 2 use the preloaded Samsung Browser for the browser benchmarks. The results are good, but cannot compete with Apple’s iPads and also reveal some weaknesses in terms of the Java applications you can use within the browser. It also looks as if Samsung has installed a frame limit, because both games are capped at 30 fps, which is sufficient for smooth gameplay. This works very well in practice. The quality of the speakers is comparatively good and the performance for mids and high tones is pretty linear; only the iPad Pro is better within the comparison. The Tab S3 can be really loud at more than 86 dBA, but will sound a bit tinny in this case. The result is decent when you use average volume levels. We cannot hear background noise, even with a very quiet playback. Samsung is using a Qualcomm SoC, so Bluetooth supports the playback of audio contents via aptX HD 24-bit, high-res. We did not experience any issues with the connection. Samsung’s tablet is basically on par with the Apple competitor in the Wi-Fi test, but the video runtime is much shorter. Test model courtesy of Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 LTE is a very good tablet, which does not rely on modern high-end hardware across the board as with the Apple iPad 2017, but the overall package is very compelling. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 might not offer many superlatives, but it is currently the best Android tablet. Besides a great display with HDR support, good speakers, improved battery runtimes and S Pen support, the Wi-Fi module in particular is very fast. The integrated Snapdragon 820 is certainly not the latest SoC from Qualcomm, but the performance is still very good. Only the small and slow eMMC storage is not a good fit for a premium multimedia tablet. Samsung has not included very good cameras either, so there is no real premium feeling. We really like the S Pen support though. It is shipped with every Tab S3 and leaves an excellent impression. 770 Euros ~$839 is still a lot of money for a tablet, and there are not many reasons to switch if you already own a Galaxy Tab S2 and can do without the pen.
